Nevada Raider Nation - Carson City Chapter will host an Oakland Raiders vs Los Angeles Chargers game watch at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22 at Jimmy G's, 301 N. Carson St. in Carson City.

The game watch will feature drawings for fantastic Raiders gear; a silent auction on even greater Raiders items, like an autographed Willie Brown photo, highball and shot glasses with the Raiders logo, T-shirts, games, Howie Long photo, and a whole lot more!

Nevada Humanities Announces New Board of Trustees’ Members

Nevada Humanities is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees made up of leaders in the humanities and nonprofit entities from around the state. While he's here in August and September, he hopes to draft a 70-minute, spoken, dramatic monologue for a male performer about carpentry, family, and faith. California murder prompts Amber Alert for teen, suspects driving white BMW with Nevada plates

UPDATE: The Amber Alert issued Thursday morning was canceled Thursday evening for Nevada, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. Authorities said the suspect's cell phone was used near the Mexico border.

An Amber Alert was issued late Thursday morning for a California teenager after authorities learned she was last seen with her mother and a man who are suspects in a Los Angeles County murder investigation. The suspects are believed to be driving a vehicle with Nevada personalized license plates.
