March 1, 2019 - 6:00pm A Ballroom Dance Social will be held March 1 from 6-9 p.m. at Yaple's Ballroom Dance Studio, 315 N. Carson Street in downtown Carson City.
Cost is $10 for the whole evening!
6 p.m.: FREE Dance Lesson on the Waltz Box and dance frame
6:30 p.m.: Dance lesson on Waltz and Foxtrot Basics
7:30-9 p.m.: Social Dancing, your DJ for the evening will be Tiffany
Music will range from Ballroom, Latin, Swing, Country, Night Club and more! Requests are welcome!

Level: Beginning to Intermediate
If you're new, great! We will get you started! If you have danced Cha Cha, great! We will review your basics and then show you some new moves that will improve your style.
In this class we are going to learn some playful moves! All moves will be danced back and forth in a slot so that you can keep this dance compact and take it on any dance floor.

Back to school week is just about behind us, so do something to celebrate your survival. Southbound Train hits the outdoor stage at Living the Good Life, followed by hours of dancing with DJ Bobby. Cowboy Bobby will get your boots on the floor with Country Dance Night at Carson Lanes. Take the kids to Minden Park for the final family concert in their GE Series: Foreigner Unauthorized begins at 6 p.m. Shine up the chrome for the Carson SYFL Car Show at Bully’s Sports Bar, and catch some NFL pre-season while you’re there. High Sierra Swing Dance Club invites the public to its seventh-annual Spring Ball dinner-dance on April 26 at the Carson Nugget, 507 N. Carson St., Carson City.
The semi-formal/formal-attire evening begins with hors d'oeuvres and no-host cocktails at 5:30 p.m. and continues with dance performances at 6:30, buffet dinner at 7, open dancing 8-11 pm to West Coast swing,
nightclub two-step, country two-step, waltz and Latin tunes.
