Lyon County Sheriff's Office makes drug trafficking arrest in Dayton Thursday

On January 3, 2019 the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the Lyon County Sheriff's Office and the Tri-County Gang Unit arrested Lamont Ontario Williams in Dayton on a felony warrant for Level 3 Drug Trafficking. At the time of arrest, Williams was in possession of 15.3 grams of methamphetamine.

Carson City man receives two maximum sentences for meth, marijuana sales

A 43-year-old Carson City man was sentenced Tuesday in district court to two maximum sentences for two separate felony drug transactions.

Lamont Ontario Williams received 28 months to 6 years for the sale of methamphetamine and a consecutive term of 28 months to 6 years for the sale of large amounts of marijuana, according to the Carson City District Attorney's Office. As a result, Williams will spend a minimum of 56 months and up to 12 years in prison, which is the maximum sentence for both cases.

Crime Log for Feb. 16: Carson City's police arrest several on felony charges

Carson City Sheriff's deputies arrested the following individuals over the last few days:

  • Jacob Jerrard, 23, a maintenance worker from Carson City, just after 9 p.m. Wednesday night, at the corner of North Edmonds Drive and Highway 50 East. Jerrard was arrested for a felony hold from Probation and Parole, as well as the misdemeanors of failing to stop at a stop sign and driving without a valid drivers' license. No bail has been set.
