You can probably take ‘beach day’ off of your agenda. Spring has been briefly usurped by a blustery chill. Grab a coat and hit the town anyway. The early spring farmers market downtown, the Cops and Kids event at the Sheriff’s Department, and the Annual Relay for Life at Mills Park are still a good time. This weekend is jam-packed full of fun, so take a look at the weekend event summary for your options indoors and out.

SATURDAY:

Where to Park in Carson City: State track championship, Relay for Life, Cops and Kids

Saturday events at Carson High School, Mills Park and the Carson City Sheriff’s Office may cause some delays for motorists but there’s plenty of parking to be found for everyone going each event, organizers say.

Saddle Up For KIds Event a Success

Food For Thought would like to think all the people who came out and supported us at our Saddle Up For Kids Events. Friday, June 28th’s dinner at the Governor’s Mansion and Saturday, June 29th’s Carnival at Mills Park wouldn’t have been as successful if not for our volunteers!
