Dayton-based gun manufacturer raided by ATF for selling 'ghost guns'
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 12/11/2020 - 10:13amAccording to an article originally published in the Washington Post, federal agents of the ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) raided Lyon County based Polymer80, a company accused of illegally manufacturing and distributing firearms, failing to pay taxes, shipping guns across state lines, and failing to conduct background investigations.
According to a press release issued by District of Columbia Attorney General Karl A. Racine in June of 2020, a lawsuit was filed against Polymer80 for selling what are described as “ghost guns.”

The district has never sent a Democrat to Washington. However, there are currently seven Democrats vying for the job, opposing Republican incumbent Mark Amodei.

They include several major health care initiatives — including a ban on surprise emergency room bills, a tax on vaping products and a requirement that hospitals use patients’ preferred names and pronouns — as well as laws that will benefit employees, including paid sick leave.
