The 16th Motor Officer Challenge kicks off Friday at 7 a.m. at Mills Park. Lace up the shoes for a Friday morning walk at East Silver Saddle Ranch hosted by Muscle Powered.

Today will be more of the same with partly cloudy skies, gentle breezes, possible showers, with a high of 62 degrees and a low of 37 degrees. On the schedule today we have day two of egg hunting at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, an Easter Sunday service at the Community Center, a community bike ride, and more!

Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Sat, 04/20/2019 - 11:14amThe first of two egg hunts at the Nevada Railroad Museum was a hit with the Easter hunters. Eggs filled with prizes, toys and stuffed animals were up for grabs during the hunt which lasted about one entire minute before the lawn was picked clean.
The Easter Bunny was on site for pictures, and inside the museum there will be children’s activities such as face painting, coloring stations, and more.
Festivities will continue throughout Saturday and then Sunday. The schedule is as follows:

Track prep has been slow going but heck or high water pushing to make this happen. So now, Carson City BMX Open House is scheduled for Saturday, 20 April 2019, 1-4 pm and start our 2019 season on Sunday, 21 April 2019, signups 9-10 am (must be a USABMX member).
There will also be an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, bring your basket. For more info, come to the Open House or email CCBMX@aol.com or leave a message/contact number at 775-246-3660.

They will deliver the Easter baskets and the candy-filled plastic eggs for an egg hunt on Saturday, April 20.

We will outline simple (or not so simple!) designs on eggs that have already been drawn into quarters to save time, then we will proceed to wax and dye each element in its turn. There is no limit to your imagination!
Easter Egg Hunt at Marine Housing Coleville
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Fri, 04/06/2018 - 7:38amSierra-Tahoe Branch and Unit #137 of the Fleet Reserve Association hosted the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Marine Corp Mountain Training Center, Housing Area, Coleville, CA which was well received by the children and parents.
The Branch & Auxiliary members prepared 600 plastic eggs and stuffed them with candy and small toys. In addition, one of the members made bunnies out of washcloths which the children can use instead of an ice pack (also known as boo-boo bunnies).
