February 12, 2024 - 1:00pm Speaking at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Matt Sampson, Director of Operations at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada. Sampson has been involved with the Boys & Girls Club for more than two decades.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada serve more than 2,500 youth each year in Carson City and the Carson Valley. The club offers youth programming in core areas, including character, leadership, sports, healthy lifestyles, the arts, STEM, and education, offering free tutoring for students after school.

November 8, 2021 - 12:00pm Mike Wiencek, Brewery Arts Center Director of Operations, will speak via Zoom at Monday's Democratic luncheon. "Mikey," as he is universally known, has worked at the Brewery Arts Center since 2015, initially as a volunteer, and has played a key role in helping the BAC grow into the community arts hub that it is today.
A proud Marine Corps veteran, he has been involved in broadcast media and the arts for more than 25 years.
