Hello Carson City, today is Wednesday, March 20, 2019, the first day of Spring and the middle of the work week. Today is Nevada Moves Day where schoolchildren will be walking and riding their bikes to and from school. Motorists may want to be especially careful as there are more kids on the sidewalks and crosswalks than usual.

March 20, 2019 - 6:00pm Uncovering Nevada’s past is the topic for the Carson City Leisure Hour Club on Wednesday, March 20. Presented by Dennis Casinelli, club members will learn about artifacts that he discovered while growing up in Nevada and during his long career as a highway engineer for the Nevada Department of Transportation. He also founded Cassinelli Landscaping and Construction, which still serves Northern Nevada today.
