Events include the Silver State Art Festival at Fuji Park, suicide awareness walks in Carson City, a Celtic faire at Dangberg Home Ranch, the ninth annual Edible Pedal bike ride at Bowers Mansion, train rides in Virginia City and much more!
Laps for Lungs at Carson City BMX track set for Friday
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Sun, 09/08/2019 - 8:47pmCarson City BMX is hosting a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Laps for Lungs on Friday, Sept. 13. This is separate from CCBMX racing schedule.
The laps will be done during the practice times (6-7 pm). You do not need to be a USABMX member to participate in this worthy cause. You do need to fill out a 1-day trial membership (free).
Lap for Lungs CF Fundraiser at Carson City BMX Track
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Sat, 09/07/2019 - 8:37amLaps for Lungs fundraiser at Carson City BMX Track (1555 Livermore Lane, Carson City) will take place Friday September 13th, 2019 from 6 - 7:30pm. There is a $5.00 donation asked for the fundraiser. (Regular Racing Fees apply for the night).
For each lap you ride during practice, a ticket will be placed into a jar for the drawing. The more laps you ride the more chances to win!

Lace up your shoes for a morning walk at Riverview Park, and then head on over to the Nevada State Museum for a coin press demonstration, and tours that explore anthropology and Nevada history. Later there's a cruise night gathering at Carson Mall to benefit Safe Grad Night, an Italian dinner fundraiser at the Governor's Mansion to benefit Carson City's homeless, live music at Living the Good Life and A to Zen, laughs at the Carson Comedy Club, and much more.
