The University of Nevada, Reno, sent a letter to Pioneer High School in September congratulating the school and Carson Online for the acceptance of a 2017 graduate into a highly competitive UNR program.

Silver State Charter School in Carson City became known over summer break as Argent Preparatory Academy, Principal Krystal Hoefling said, a move that represents more than just a name change.
Carson City School District honors Employee and Educator of the Year

CARSON CITY — Tedra “Teddy” Cook, 7th grade teacher at Carson Middle School, was honored last night as the Carson City School District’s Educator of the Year. Additionally, Bridget Gordon, 21st Century Solutions Program coordinator at Carson High School, was recognized as the Classified Employee of the Year for the district.

August 3, 2015 (All day) Earn your High School Equivalency with Carson Adult Education. Registration begins Aug. 3rd with classes beginning Aug. 24th. Classes are offered Mon., Tues., Wed., evenings from 6-9 p.m. and are free. HSE exams are given monthly. We also offer credit recovery classes.
