A 59-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Tuesday on a felony drug possession charges after officers found approximately 3.3 grams of methamphetamine, assorted pills and paraphernalia.

An investigation that led to the arrest of a Carson City man on burglary and credit card fraud charges expanded Tuesday with a 25-year-old accomplice booked on felony charges, a Carson City sheriff’s detective said.

Chelsea Cribbins of Carson City was booked on charges of burglary, credit card fraud, conspiracy to use a credit card and conspiracy to obtain money, possession of stolen property and obtaining money under false pretenses.

Two cases involving stolen, forged credit cards results in three arrests

Three Sacramento area women were arrested Saturday in two separate cases involving stolen credit cards, fraud and forgery. Carson City Sheriff’s Office investigators are trying to determine if the cases are related, said Lt. Brian Humphrey.

In the first arrest, officers recovered stolen credit cards, equipment to make credit cards, as well as stolen checks from victims in Douglas County and Sacramento, according to the arrest report.

Pair jailed on felony charges in vehicle burglary, used stolen credit cards to shop, eat pizza

Two were arrested and face multiple felony charges related to a vehicle burglary that happened Friday where stolen credit cards were used at a casino and to purchase around $900 worth merchandise, clothing and pizza, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

Arrested were Joshua Allen, 34, of Richmond, Calif., and April Grover, 29, of Bay Point, Calif. Each face felony charges of auto burglary, commercial burglary, credit card fraud, prescription drug and controlled substance possession and a misdemeanor charge of marijuana possession. The two were already in jail facing other charges.

Carson City sheriff's detectives are looking for a pair who used two stolen credit cards this summer at the Walmart in Carson City.

On August 28, 2014 around 1:49 p.m. the man and woman shown in the pictures here entered Walmart at 3200 Market Street in Carson City. The man fraudulently used two stolen credit cards within the store, purchasing groceries and other goods. The male appears to have brown hair, a brown goatee and has numerous tattoos on his arms. The female has long blonde hair.

A 32-year-old home care worker turned herself into the Carson City Sheriff's Office early Tuesday on a felony warrant for her arrest.

Amy Lynne Wolf of Carson City was taken into custody at 1 a.m. on March 25. A warrant was issued Feb. 27, 2014 on a charge of suspicion of fraudulent use of a credit card. A $5,000 bondable was set and she was released from jail on that bond.

In other arrests: A man jailed Sunday on felony drug and fugitive charges had an additional misdemeanor charge added Tuesday after he failed to appear in a Carson City courtroom in May 2007 on a traffic citation.

Woman jailed on felony charges of credit card fraud

A 39-year-old woman with two felony credit card fraud warrants for her arrest turned herself in Monday to Carson City Sheriff's Office detention deputies.

Nicole St. Pearre of Kissimmee, Fla., faces charges of obtaining money under false pretenses and fraudulent use of a credit card. The warrants were issued Sept. 18, 2013 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $20,000.

Sheriff's Log: Two arrests for felony credit card fraud

Two people were taken into custody by Carson City Sheriff's deputies in two separate cases of felony credit card fraud.

  • Eric Anthony Weber, 42, was arrested Thursday afternoon near Mark Way and Shady Tree Lane on a warrant alleging five felony counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, a gross misdemeanor count of conspiracy, and misdemeanor probation violation. His bail was set at $8,000.

Carson City couple arrested on credit card fraud, conspiracy charges

A Carson City couple each face five counts of felony credit card fraud and gross misdemeanor charges of conspiracy.

Denise Lynn Grover, 42, and Don Grover, 35, were arrested Friday, Dec. 27 for the charges.

Carson City man jailed on felony credit card fraud warrant

A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested Thursday and faces a felony warrant charge of fraudulent use of a credit card and misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. George Joseph Gillespie was arrested in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road at 10:16 p.m.

According to the arrests report, the felony warrant was issued Oct. 7, 2013 out of Carson City Justice Court. The misdemeanor warrant was issued Sept. 12, 2013. Bail: $6,000.

Carson City man jailed for credit card fraud at local motel

A Carson City man was jailed Wednesday and faces three felony charges including fraudulent use of a credit card after, among other things, allegedly stealing identity from a victim and charging hotel rooms on a Visa card.

Scott Michael Westman, 44, was arrested in the 2700 block of Carson Street. According to the arrest report, officers responded to a motel to assist the Colorado Springs Police Department in identifying a theft report. While responding to the hotel, dispatch advised a man had used information to obtain a credit card, which was being run up at the hotel.

Carson City man faces felony credit card fraud charge

A Carson City man turned himself into Carson City Sheriff's Office authorities on Monday for a felony warrant of fraudulent use of a credit card.
Jeffrey Aguisanda, 30, had a warrant for his arrest out of Carson City Justice Court issued on August 9. Bail; $3,000.

In other arrests, Angela Rebecca Bowman of Mound House was booked into Carson City Jail on Monday. She faces two felonies charges that were under warrants: Failure to appear in court and violation of probation.

Pair jailed in Carson City after allegedly stealing purse, racking up credit card purchases

Two were arrested Sunday and face multiple felony charges including burglary after allegedly stealing a purse with a gun inside from underneath the counter of a Carson City business and then using credit cards to go on a buying spree.

Samantha Ann Henry, of Dresslerville, and David Elden Bennett of Markleeville, both 27, are being held on $105,200 bail each. The pair were discovered attempting to purchase items with one of the stolen credit cards at the Walmart store on Market Street.

California women jailed for credit card fraud face additional felony charges

Two California women jailed earlier this week in a credit card fraud scheme, face additional felony charges including burglary and being in possession of forgery devices.

Markeisha Yvette Orviss, 22, and Kamesha Joann Cooper, 24, of Pittsburg, Calif., remain in jail and face the additional charges.

Carson City deputies make several court warrant arrests

Carson City sheriff's deputies have made several court violation arrests since Monday. The arrests have been both misdemeanor and felony related. Arrests have also been made that involved domestic abuse, theft, driving under the influence of drugs and huffing.

Deputies arrested a 28-year-old transient with outstanding felony and gross misdemeanor warrants. Melanie Huddleston, was arrested early Wednesday morning, 3:16 a.m. at a casino in the 3800 block of Highway 50 East.

Douglas authorities seek help identifying man in credit card fraud at Target store

Two instances of fraudulent use of credit cards used at the Target store on Jacks Valley Road in early January has Douglas County authorities asking for the public's help.

On Jan. 2 and again Jan. 4 the man in these two photos entered the Target store and used fraudulent credit cards to obtain an undisclosed amount of merchandise, said Sgt. Pat Brooks in a Douglas County Sheriff's Office news release. The man is considered a "person of interest" in the case.

Crime log for Feb. 17: Carson City prisoner served with additional felony warrants

Carson City Sheriff's deputies served inmate Helen Marie Holguin, 36, a Carson City waitress, at about 6:15 p.m. Thursday evening. Holguin was served with three felony warrants for fraudulent use of a credit card, and one felony warrant for attempted fraudulent use of a credit card. Bail is set at $40,000.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.

Probation revoked in credit card fraud

Probation was revoked Monday for a 30-year-old Carson City woman with multiple violations including failure to make restitution for credit card fraud totaling $2,400.

District Judge Michael Gibbons ordered Tibbi Z. Way to serve 32 months in Nevada State Prison, and gave her credit for 92 days in custody.

Carson City deputies arrest man with felony robbery, credit card fraud warrants

A 23-year-old transient was arrested Saturday and faces several charges including warrants for felony robbery, fraudulent use of a credit card, and uttering a fictitious bill.

Christopher Hugh Trappe, was arrested at North Carson and William streets at about 11:25 p.m.
According to the arrest report, deputies working with the Tri-County Gang Unit were dispatched to look for a four-door sedan with unknown Nevada license plates occupied by two men with shaved heads who left the area of Russell Way and Long street, displaying a "red rag" which is used to provoke gang activity.

Carson City deputies arrest woman wanted for credit card fraud

A 34-year-old transient with a criminal history involving fraud was arrested by Carson City authorities after giving them a false name.
Helen Holguin, 34, faces felony charges of credit card fraud, breaking probation and a misdemeanor charge of obstructing. She is being held without bail at the Carson City Jail.
On May 10 at about 11:12 p.m. a vehicle was pulled over by a Carson City deputy on West Long and South Carson streets because it didn't have a license plate. According to the arrest report, the passenger in the car had acted suspicious, clutching a large purse.
