You can help: recruit more foster homes in Carson City

Carson City children need more Carson City foster homes. Children who are taken "into care" by the state due to abuse or neglect are often placed with relatives. But, if that cannot occur, the child is placed in a foster home. These children need to remain in their community — in their school, with their teacher, close to their friends and close to their family — while the child welfare case proceeds and it is determined whether they can return to their home. Carson City does not have enough foster homes.
