While our name may imply we only work with children, nothing could be further from the truth. For the past 5 years, Kids & Horses has partnered with Connected Horse to offer powerful workshops to individuals with memory loss and their care partners.

Signups begin for fall memory loss workshops hosted by Carson area nonprofit Kids & Horses

Kids & Horses partners with Connected Horse to offer powerful workshops to individuals with memory loss and their care partners.

Based on research conducted at UC Davis and Stanford Universities, these workshops resulted in significant improvement in mood, increased positive perception of social support, and greater awareness and appreciation of the relationship between the person with memory loss and their care partner.

Nevada agency for disabled, elderly receives $450K federal grant to support older adults, people with disabilities
