A walk along the ponds behind Western Nevada College

October 16, 2021 - 8:00am There are a series of ponds behind the Western Nevada College campus in the Vicee Canyon. The ponds are fed by runoff from Hobart Lake from time to time. Walking along the trails near the canyon, with my dog, we could hear the sound of running water and when we came upon the ponds they were full and water was rushing from one to the next lower one.
