Carson City Theater Educator Celebrated at the Twelfth Annual "Freddie G Fellowship Awards"

August 11, 2023 (All day) Carol Scott, the executive director of Wild Horse Children’s Theater was one of five outstanding educators from schools and performing arts centers around the U.S. who received the Freddie G. Fellowship.
Carol was flown to New York in July to work one-on-one with Broadway professionals at the twelfth Annual Freddie G Fellowship G from July 13 to 16.
FAA Award given to Douglas County CAP pilot

The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award was recently awarded to Capt. Tom O'Connor of the Douglas County Composite Squadron, Nevada Wing, Civil Air Patrol, at a ceremony at the Minden-Tahoe Airport.
