Alzheimer's Association Support Group Meeting in Gardnerville Jan. 18

The Day Club is located within the Douglas County Community Center at 1329 Waterloo Lane in
Gardnerville. The meeting will be held in the Carson Valley Health Room.
This presentation provides a brief overview of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and the Alzheimer’s Association services.
Topics include the impact of Alzheimer’s, myths and facts, risk factors, the 10 warning signs and how others can join the fight against the disease.

After he received a visit from Adult Protective Services, Jenny’s life was turned upside down as she struggled to find a new home for her father. During his disease, Jenny advocated for Gene’s health and safety until the day he died.
