Public invited to Keep Tahoe Blue Labor Day Beach Cleanup

September 7, 2015 - 8:30am Help us Keep Tahoe Blue and take care of the beaches after the popular holiday weekend. We provide cleanup materials, refreshments, and raffle prizes. Bring your reusable water bottle and friends. The event will be Monday, Sept. 7 8:30 a.m. to noon at Nevada Beach on the South Shore.
Adopt-a-Tahoe-Beach program launches clean-up efforts
Submitted by editor on Thu, 05/22/2014 - 4:07pmSouth Lake Tahoe area agencies have partnered to launch an Adopt-a-Beach-Tahoe program that will coordinate beach clean-up dates regularly from June 15 to Sept. 15, 2014.
The City of South Lake Tahoe, Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, League to Save Lake Tahoe, the US Forest Service Basin Management Unit, and Douglas County have developed the theme, “Caring is Cool - Lake Tahoe’s clarity starts with you, and there are a number of ways to help!”
