Carson City's St Teresa of Avila Catholic School features 'Night of Nativity' exhibit
St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School invites the community to experience the sixth annual Night of Nativity Exhibit. More than 250 Nativity scenes will be displayed in a warmly lit multipurpose room, and as you enjoy them, soft Christmas music will be playing, filling you with the Spirit of Christmas!
Among the nativities loaned by school families and church parishioners, many feature a variety of contemporary and vintage nativities, some dating back to the 1940’s and 50’s, others represent different countries. Each nativity set depicts how cultures around the globe celebrate Christmas.
The Night of Nativity Exhibit is meant for you to enjoy a peaceful respite at the beginning of December before the commercial rush of Christmas. We know you will feel the sacred spirit of the season as you enter the exhibit.
December 8 and 9th 5:30pm-8:00pm
December 10th 9:00am-12:00pm
Admission is free. There will also be a Nativity scavenger hunt, Nativity cookie and art raffle and a Christmas bake sale.
