The Brother Dan Show to feature Eric Stangeland this Monday at Carson City's Bank Saloon
Musician, guitar teacher, and podcast host Eric Stangeland will be featured this week on The Brother Dan Show. A featured performer at Wild River Grille’s (Reno) summer patio concert series, Stangeland will join the host for an interview and musical performance at Bank Saloon in Carson City on Monday, Nov. 21.
Building on his music degree from UNR, Stangeland’s career has included appearances alongside a wide variety of bands ranging from The Beach Boys to Queensryche, and cites artists ranging from The Beatles to Pearl Jam as his influences, spanning from metal to jazz. While he remains active in the local music scene as a performer, and collaborates on assorted side projects, Eric also teaches guitar lessons, both online and in private one-on-one sessions.
The Brother Dan Show streams live from the Bank Saloon in Carson City. The show welcomes a live audience starting at 4:30pm, and the Facebook broadcast starts at 5:00pm at www.facebook.com/brotherdanpalmer. The show offers audiences a chance to get to know a wide variety of skilled musical artists, as they improvise and make music together, often for the first time. In person, attendees can enjoy free munchies from local restaurant Mangia Tutto during the show, along with a great selection of craft cocktails.
The Bank Saloon is located at 418 S. Carson St. in Carson City and offers a weekly line-up of entertainment, including The Brother Dan Show on Mondays, plus a selection of local musical acts on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
