Silver City Holiday Artisans Festival brings fine arts and crafts, music, and holiday food and drink for your enjoyment! Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Save the date! On December 4, 2022 Silver City Preservation Society presents a day of art, music, food and drink in the beautiful Historic Silver City Schoolhouse at 385 High St. Silver City, Nevada. Located in the foothills of the Virginia range just three miles south of Virginia City on Hwy 341/342 Silver City is a destination or a lovely stop over on your tour of the Comstock Historic District.
A selection of talented artists will have their creations for sale in all price ranges. Find the most special holiday gift of the season or just enjoy and appreciate art while sipping a mimosa or a mulled wine, a hot chocolate or perhaps just a good beer. The fine cooks of Silver City will provide enticing treats as well.
Artists include:
Annie Clark and Molly Moore of Tridentata Arts, wonderful artists in their own right they are also passionate about creating art experiences for children of all ages in rural communities. Evangeline Elston makes photos, paintings and drawings that interpret life and landscape.
Jackie Kelley repurposes wool to create one-of-a-kind hats and they are gorgeous.
Jeff Morales paints in acrylic on canvas. His subjects are Sierra landscapes, large flower studies, wildlife, pets and cityscapes.
Cat Wahrenbrock creates exquisite bead work done on braintan leather. Historical interpretations and contemporary designs.
Kim Jardine's whimsical quilted holiday pieces bring joy to your heart.
That is just a few of the artist participating in the event. Equally wonderful work by artists such as Renate and Ron Victor, Robert Elston, Larry Kotik, Sara Ross, Kathy and Ron Pedersen and others will show work of beauty and insight on our world. London artist Alice Cazenave may also show some work from her Sustainable Photography project. Stay tuned for further announcements.
Music will be provided by the amazing Betty and James Ukulele duo between 10 and 12, Darren Senn from 12 to 2pm, and Squeek Steele from 2:30-4:30 pm.
Squeek is globally notorious for her wide-ranging expertise at the piano, playing gigs in a variety of styles in Berlin, Hong Kong, and all over the United States. She is also in the Guinness Book of Records for the most pieces of music performed from memory. https://goodoldsongs.com/about-squeek/

Betty and James are local stars Barbara Peck and James Allander. They lift our hearts with old favorites on the ukulele.
So don’t miss this event! Bring the whole family to Silver City December 4th. Homemade hot chocolate, mimosas, mulled wine and local beer will be available for sale. Delectable finger food will be provided gratis. Donations are always gratefully accepted.
