Yoga (for non-yogis!)
This is a 6 week class that explores the very basics of yoga. Class size is limited to allow for personal attention. Learn about your core (what the heck does that mean, anyway?) how to move in and out of basic poses, and learn a few classic introductory yoga postures. There will be opportunity to modify all poses and movements based on the needs of your body – learn how to adapt yoga to what your body needs instead of trying to fit your body into an unrealistic pose. We will include elements of strength, flexibility, balance, and breath, and will always end with a bit of relaxation. This is a great class for those new to yoga, as well as those with a little more experience who want to slow downn and review alignment fundamentals.
