Middle East history the topic at Monday's Carson City Democratic luncheon
Middle East history buff Howard Beckerman will lead an in-depth conversation about the historical roots of the multiple Middle Eastern conflicts and blood feuds at Monday's Democratic luncheon.
The proud husband of Nevada Supreme Court Justice Elissa Cadish and proud father of teenage daughter Shayna, Howard describes himself as a "seeker of knowledge in a never-ending quest to understand the root causes of why and how." And it shows.
Howard was born and raised in New York City. He was educated at the Bronx High School of Science, New York University, Baruch College (MBA Finance) and New York Law School.
Now retired from a career in real estate, Howard applies his considerable talents to avocational interests as a lifelong Democrat, a member of the Jewish Democratic Council of America, J Street and too many synagogues to name.
Sponsored by the Democratic Men's Committee, this event is scheduled for noon on Monday, August 16th. Howard will be presenting exclusively via Zoom because the in-person venue is currently unavailable. Those wishing to be on distribution for luncheon links should email Rich Dunn, Men's Committee Events Coordinator, at richdunn@aol.com.
