Haunted Hills, Mills and Depots on the Haunted Comstock is back for their 2023 annual event
Halloween Weekend Northern Nevada Ghost Hunters presents their 2023 Haunted Hills, Mills, & Depots. The event will take place Friday night, Oct. 27 at 6 pm at the historic Gold Hill Depot where participants will have the opportunity to spend time getting to know NNGH and our special guests: Haunted Pursuit, The N.E.R.D.S. , Father David Deerfeeder, Harvey Althaus, and The Thin Veil investigators featuring Nevada author Sandie LaNae.
For full access to the Haunted Hills, Mills, & Depots, the cost is $100 per person. This combination ticket gives you full access to both Friday and Saturday night’s meet and greets, investigations vendors and more. This is a savings of $50 off the regular ticket price, if both nights were to be purchased separately.
On the day of the event, the price of Hills & Depots is $75 per person.
NNGH also has obtained special permission to investigate the Gold Hill Train Depot as a new, welcome addition to their annual Haunted Hills & Mills event.
Participants will also have a chance to shop with their vendors, have their cards read by Cathy or get a reading by Sandie LaNae or Harvey.
The Hills portion of our weekend focuses on the area surrounding the Gold Hill Hotel and Gold Hill Train Depot.
“Where will our resident spirits make contact with you? Could it be on Telegraph Street near the Yellow Jacket Hoisting works? On the Depot loading platform? Or will it be in Rosie or William’s room in the Historic Gold Hill Hotel?” NNGH says to excite their aspiring participants.
At the Friday night event, NNGH invites participants to wear a costume to add to the Halloween Spirit and will give special recognition for best costume, so be creative. Just keep in mind the need for safe closed-toed shoes which are required to investigate. Participants are welcome to bring your handheld ghost-hunting tools. There are also prizes at the door
This event is good for both the experienced and novice investigator aged 13 and older, but only 50 tickets are available. The tour is not appropriate for children 12 or under. A responsible adult must accompany participants aged 13 to 17 at all times.
Please note: Ticket sales do not include lodging or transportation. Since this is a benefit for the Comstock Foundation for History and Culture, NNGH will not be able to honor any refund requests.
On Saturday, Oct. 28 is the Mills & Depots event which is $75.00 per person starting at 4 p.m.
NNGH has also obtained special permission to investigate the Gold Hill Train Depot & the V&T Freight Depot as welcome additions to their annual Haunted Hills & Mills Event.
On Saturday afternoon we will start the weekend off with an open house at the Haunted & Historic Gold Hill Train Depot from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
At 8 p.m. they will begin the investigations of three iconic locations that make the Comstock famous, featuring the Gold Hill Train Depot, The V&T Freight Depot, and Donovan’s Mill.
Hills, Mills, & Depots includes limited ticket availability and a real chance to spend time with NNGH special guests in very haunted locations. And as always, all proceeds stay up on the Comstock to benefit The Comstock Foundation for History and Culture.
NNGH also asks that participants not be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. Intoxicated guests will be asked to leave. As will anybody who does not respect the Spirits or our team members. Only 60 tickets are available for Saturday.
