Eldorado Forest Interpretative Association offers free guided hikes in Carson Pass in August and September
The Eldorado Forest Interpretative Association offers free guided interpretative hikes in and around the Carson Pass area throughout August and September.
These hikes vary from 45 minutes long like our historical Devil's Ladder hike to three hours long like our water color painting hikes.
We offer Junior ranger hikes for our youth, 5 to 15-year-olds, and we offer a walk among the trees and flower hikes as well.
Please see our attached schedule for specific details on dates and descriptions. We recommend that participants call the Carson Pass Information Station at 209-258-8606 to ask more questions and reserve a spot. Some hikes will be limited to 12 people (on the PCT).
