The Brother Dan Show with guest Jimmy Rossi at Carson City's Bank Saloon
Monday, August 8 host Brother Dan Palmer will be joined by Jimmy Rossi at Bank Saloon in Carson City. The two will chat about all of the projects and appearances in the singer/multi-instrumentalist’s near future, while they play a wide ranging set of music.
Founder of Carson City’s Senior School of Rock program and leader of Off Our Rockers, who are fresh off a string of local appearances, Rossi also plays bass and tours with the Anthony Nino Band as they play Italian music at festivals throughout the Western US. His appearance on The Brother Dan Show comes two days after playing Saturday night, with guests, at Bank Saloon, and will give audiences a more in-depth look at the Jimmy.
The Brother Dan Show streams every Monday on Facebook, starting at 5pm, and welcomes a live studio audience to attend the broadcast. In person music starts at 4:30, with free munchies from Mangia Tutto available, in addition to the craft cocktails this local historic venue is known for. The show features a rotating line-up of guest artists in a casual environment, giving audiences a chance to get to know them on a personal level through interviews, and a chance to sample their musical talents.
Bank Saloon, at 418 S. Carson St., features a variety of live music throughout the week, including solo acts on Thursdays, larger acts (duos, trios, and more) on Friday and Saturday nights, and The Brother Dan Show on Mondays.
