Northern Nevada creative agency recognized among nation's top advertising companies

At the American Advertising Federation’s National Award Ceremony, Northern Nevada-based advertising agency, KR Squared, took home a Gold Award, being honored among the top marketing companies in the nation. Their “You Do You, Mama” campaign, created for Motherhood Maternity, was also recognized with a Mosaic Award for promoting diversity and inclusion beside the world-renowned Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.
“This is a huge moment for our team,” Head of Development Katy Rhamey commented. “The Motherhood campaign was definitely a passion project for us. We know new moms deserve so much more recognition than they get, and we want to grow that recognition in every way we can.”
Katy Rhamey and her daughter Kate Rhamey are the founders of KR Squared - a boutique creative agency based in Northern Nevada. Their team specializes in storytelling through marketing, commercials, and film. Over the past decade, they have worked with the likes of Disney, The CW, Nestle, and Bayer. KR Squared’s winning campaign, “You Do You, Mama”, is a multi-channel narrative promoting Breastfeeding Awareness Month with honest and intimate stories of motherhood throughout the generations. The campaign brings together moms from all walks of life through a simple moment — feeding their babies. The results of the campaign for Motherhood Maternity were substantial, with the initial Instagram launch increasing their reach by well over 2000%.
“Every mom is different and has to make different choices when it comes to caring for their little one. I know what it’s like to work with a baby at home, and so does my mom. Now especially, it’s so important to show young mothers that they aren’t alone. So, with this campaign, we want to honor and empower moms in every feeding choice they make.” Kate Rhamey shared.
