Carson City author releases third novel 'Sarah's Mosaic'
Carson City local Mike Hartman has released his latest book "Sarah’s Mosaic." Hartman has has published two previous editions of the Tony Morrell Mystery Series, "Jaguarundi" (2015) and "Deadly Voyeur" (2018).
Story Synopsis
Sarah Morrell has been able to move beyond a loveless and abusive marriage in her younger years that left her scarred and afraid. She is living a storybook marriage with her police detective husband, Tony, and has fulfilled her career goals working for a local group of doctors. That idyllic life is shattered when she and those she loves are subjected to seemingly random acts of sabotage and attack, perpetrated by her deluded and drug-crazed ex who believes that his ruined life is the result of Sarah’s abandonment many years ago. The only way Sarah will be able to deal with her adversary and ultimately save her own life is to tap into a reservoir of strength and courage she didn’t even know she possessed.
"I think Sarah’s Mosaic will resonate with readers. They will bond with Sarah’s husband and her best friend Sonny. The dramatic and unexpected ending will leave them with nothing but pride and respect for Sarah, and a realization of the profound depth of her character and strength," Hartman said.
Author Bio:
Mike Hartman is a retired business owner who is spending his retirement time pursuing his lifelong love of writing. Hartman spent a 40-year career in the field of dispute resolution and collective bargaining, 30 years in private industry and 10 years as head of his own consulting firm. When he is not writing, he spends most of his free time playing golf, discovering new boutique wineries, or trout fishing in the mountains of Northern Nevada.
"I enjoy a great story, which is why I love to write. For me, writing is a labor of love, not a means to an end. If my stories provide even one reader with enjoyment or entertainment, the effort has been worth the while," he said.
Hartman's books are available on Amazon, both in printed and e-reader format. It may also be purchased at The Purple Avocado (904 N. Curry Street) in downtown Carson City. I will also be signing books at a future Meet the Author session at Browser’s Corner.
