Tom Grundy, P.E. joins Robison Engineering Company
Robison Engineering has named Tom Grundy, P.E. as Principal Operator and Engineer, building on their team of Scientists, Engineers, and Surveyors.
Grundy will specialize in potable water distribution system hydraulic design and network analysis, operation, maintenance and upgrades as well as permitting.
Tom comes to Robison Engineering after a 20 year career in the public sector. During the last two decades, Grundy focused his career on municipal water systems, hydraulic modeling, land development, capital projects and project permitting.
During that time, he saw many things that worked, a few that didn’t, and learned numerous ways to avoid pitfalls and delays. For the last 4 years of his public sector work, Tom focused on the operations side, giving him a unique perspective into what functions best long term in the field.
Grundy is a member of multiple professional organizations including the Nevada Rural Water Association, Nevada Water Resources Association, American Public Works Association, and the American Society of Civil Engineers where he has served as Branch Treasurer and Branch President.
Tom is a licensed civil engineer and water rights surveyor in the State of Nevada and holds Nevada D4 and T3 water system operator certifications.
