Progressive advocate to speak at Democratic tele-luncheon
Featured speaker at Monday's Democratic tele-luncheon will be Annette Magnus, Executive Director of Battle Born Progress. Her presentation will outline the hard choices legislators will be forced to make in the 81st session, which begins Monday.
A Political Science graduate of UNLV, Magnus has become a familiar face throughout the state as an outspoken advocate for progressive causes. She has also served as Co-Chair of the Nevada Women's Lobby, a board member of Emerge Nevada, and Public Affairs Manager at Planned Parenthood of Southern Nevada.
Sponsored by the Democratic Men's Committee, this event is scheduled for noon on Monday, February 1st, and will be held online via Zoom teleconference due to the restricted availability of in-person venues. Those wishing to be on distribution for these Zoom links can email Rich Dunn, Men's Committee Events Coordinator, at richdunn@aol.com.
