Survey closes Friday for US-50 East corridor users between Carson City and Mound House
A community survey for US-50 users in Carson City continues this week until Friday. These are the last few days to participate in the US-50 Study Survey to better understand the transportation needs.
The Carson Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) is currently conducting a corridor study along US-50 between the I-580 interchange in Carson City and Highlands Drive in Mound House.
The purpose of this study is to better understand transportation needs and concerns along this corridor, related to safety, traffic congestion, business access, and pedestrian and bicycle accommodation. The project will evaluate and recommend safety and operational improvements for all users within the US 50 East Carson corridor.
The survey became available online Nov. 28, 2023, and runs to Friday, Jan. 5, 2024, at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CCUS50 or by scanning the QR code on the CAMPO website, CarsonAreaMPO.com.
