The Carson City Host Lions is pleased to announce the 23rd annual community Crab Feed will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Fuji Park Hall.

The Lions, with the help of Celebrity Chef Jonathan Chapin and his team, will serve up Dungeness crab, roasted beef tri-tip, salad, bread, and ice cream. There will be music, dancing, raffle prizes and a silent auction to raise funds for Lions' projects.

Carson High students admire Latino artist Guillermo Bert exhibit at Nevada Museum of Art

Guillermo Bert, an artist who was born in Santiago de Chile in 1959, was recently featured at the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno. Carson High School Heritage Spanish 2 students, who had previously studied the artist and some of his works, were able to visit the exhibition last month.

Carson City residents meet with mayor to discuss dog park controversy at Ronald D. Wilson Park

Roughly 30 Carson City residents met at Ronald D. Wilson Memorial Park at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24 to counter the building of the dog park in this neighborhood.

The gathering lasted for roughly an hour and many concerns about the dog park and the area were voiced.
