Carson City FISH Revitalization Project to have dorms, commercial building ready by Nevada Day

The dormitories are slated to be move-in ready and completed by August, with a commercial building to open by October in time for Nevada Day, according to Jim Peckham, executive director of Friends in Service Helping, also known as FISH.
Carson City emergency crews respond to crash at William and Stewart

Performances will take place at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall in Carson City on the weekends of Dec. 2 and 9, with Friday and Saturday evening shows at 7:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm.

Free holiday concert Sunday features Capital City Community Band

The free concert will be presented in the Boldrick Theater in the Carson Community Center at 2 p.m.

Holiday with a Hero hosts fundraisers leading up to annual Carson City shopping spree

Holiday with a Hero is on its 18th year of shopping, and this year, their goal is to serve 230 students.
