Carson City area gaming revenue climbs 14 percent in October, statewide up 48 percent

Casino gaming revenue continues to climb post-pandemic lockdown with Carson City area casinos seeing a 14.33 percent increase in gaming generated profit compared to October 2020, according to figures released Tuesday by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Carson City emergency crews respond to crash involving motorcycle on East William Street

UPDATE 2:13PM: The injured rider was flown by Care Flight. Their condition is unknown at this time. The cause of the crash is under investigation. Motorists can expect delays.
