Nevada Civil War Volunteers holding annual Christmas Ball December 16

The Nevada Civil War Volunteers are inviting the public to their annual Christmas Ball on December 16. The event is being held in the Nevada Room at the Governor's Mansion from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.. Tickets can be purchased for $20 per adult and $10 for children age 12 and under.

Collage and Cabernet

Create abstract, mixed media, collage while sipping wine or coffee. Instruction will be provided by artist Deana Hoover.

One beverage is included in the price. Canvases, paints, and other supplies are provided (and you are welcome bring in images and items you’d like to add to your art as well).

Holiday Show Meet and Greet Saturday at Carson City Art Gallery

Kenny Arnold is a local resident of Carson City, born and raised in the Bay area. Kenny began oil painting classes at the Brewery Arts Center in January 2013, with previous endeavors as a self-taught artist using pencil drawings. Kenny has also creates in watercolor and pastels. Besides creating art paintings based on desire, he also takes on commission art requests.

Stuff a Subaru Food Drive this Saturday to benefit Meals on Wheels
