RV fire in parking lot of South Carson Street extinguished

Carson City Fire Department and sheriff's deputies were called Monday afternoon to the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings in the 3800 block of South Carson Street for an RV on fire. It was extinguished by the time firefighters arrived.

$1.2 million in Nevada State Parks grants available from the Recreational Trails Program

CARSON CITY, Nev. – The Nevada Division of State Parks administers grant funds from the Recreational Trails Program of the Federal Highway Administration. Approximately $1.2 million in funding is available for the 2018 fiscal year. Applications are due by October 26, 2017.
