The celebration will be held in the park across from the State Library on the corner of Stewart and Musser Streets and will begin at 5:30 p.m. and is scheduled to last an hour.

Wildcats win finale to salvage doubleheader split at CSI

Saturday was no exception, as the Wildcats had to settle for a split against College of Southern Idaho during their Scenic West Athletic Conference doubleheader. CSI won the opener 3-1 before the Wildcats came back to take the nightcap 2-1 at Skip Walker Field.
Sen. Harry Reid, local candidates speak at Carson City Democratic Convention
Submitted by admin on Sat, 04/24/2010 - 6:19pmSenate Majority Leader Harry Reid spoke to Carson City Democrats today at their county convention at Eagle Valley Middle School.
Nevada's senior senator spent time talking and taking pictures with the attendees before exhorting the partisan crowd to help him in his tough reelection campaign this year.
Reid made a short speech before heading out to speak at other county conventions going on across the state today.
Candidates for Carson City Board of Supervisors, School Board, Assessor and Sheriff were also on hand to speak to the crowd.
