Wednesday, Oct. 11: Things to do in Carson City
Submitted by Danielle Cook on Wed, 10/11/2017 - 5:46amAir quality around our area is fairly poor, due to the multiple fires in Northern California, so indoor activities are recommended for anyone having a hard time with the smoke. Luckily, Carson City has just the ticket. Get your jazz on at Living the Good Life; Cherie Shipley is hosting tonight’s jam. Kick up your heels during country line dance lessons at the Eleventh Frame Lounge inside Carson Lanes. You’ll learn something new every Tuesday and Wednesday night. Pizza is on the menu for dinner tonight.

I Love Carson City’s Weekend Event Summary: Sept. 9 – 10

There’s only a chance of rain, but the chance of it showing up at the wrong time is always high. The very early morning is best spent watching the hot air balloons against the Reno skyline, but you’ll probably want a sweater for the pre-dawn chill. Head up the hill to Virginia City this weekend. If you’ve never been to the annual International Camel Races, you’ve been missing out. Keep reading, there’s something for everyone on this list. Find your fun.
