Carson City's 'Holly Jolly' looks to spread holiday joy this season with letters to children

Monica Marcinko, also known as Holly Jolly, is setting out on a Journey to publish a children's book called "I want To Be An Elf" This book will teach children and adults you can be whatever you want in life and you should go for it. Monica's motto is " Believe in Your elf!"

The last Thursday of November means a big gobble gobble, Happy Thanksgiving to all. Enjoy in the games, festivities, activities at home and outdoors. Events are at a minimum, for obvious reasons, but the two big ones are traditions for us in the capital city. Coming Soon to the Capital City: “Good Day Carson” TV Launches December 2nd

The National Grassroots Broadcasting Network (NGBN) and it’s flagship affiliate NGBN Carson City TV are proud to announce the launch of Carson City's first ever five day-a-week morning TV show.

The show titled, Good Day Carson, is the next project for the NGBN Carson City TV Platform, which aims to produce quality, community-focused content to areas often overshadowed by larger markets. This is the case with nearby Reno; yet, many consider Carson City too small to stand on its own. But the producers of Good Day Carson think differently.

Thank you U.S. Veterans for your service to our great country. Carson City Sheriff's Office warns of rise in 'virtual kidnapping' phone scam targeting locals

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office has recently seen an increase in what is known as a “Virtual Kidnapping Scheme.” This is where criminals call unsuspecting people on their cell phone, based on research, and convince them they have kidnapped a family member, demanding a ransom be paid quickly.
