Wilson Wins President’s Cup at Silver Oak

The President’s Cup takes the best scores from each hole over two rounds for gross and net winners. The low net (after handicap is applied) over the field was Ryan Balik at 17 under.

Money winners were Wilson and Frank Maricich with low net (after handicap is applied) 66s in the first flight, followed by Wes Camp and Brian Sweet tied for third place with 68.

"These were taken right out of my bedroom window last week," Burnaugh wrote. "I was approximately 5-7 feet from the cat through the window."

Then a golf cart came along and disturbed the bird's meal. But that's when I got these shots.
Over the span of 24 hours, I have found both Golden and Bald Eagles here around the Nevada state capital, truly capturing the namesake of the "Eagle Valley."

Carson City Kiwanis hosts Saturday of golf, running and lifting for pancreatic cancer awareness
Submitted by editor on Tue, 09/12/2017 - 3:53pmAvery Hudak, 22, tied for first place in last year’s Carson City Kiwanis Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Day 5K.
While it was a personal accomplishment for the runner, it was also a victory for her mother, who died from pancreatic cancer in 2014.
