Watch it Live: Carson City School Board meeting at 6 p.m.

Tonight beginning at 6 p.m., the Carson City School Board will be voting on the re-opening plans for all schools in the Carson City School District, which is slated to open on a proposed hybrid schedule. Families are also given the option of 100 percent distance learning, but there is no option at this time for 100 percent in school learning, except for certain special education students.

The Carson City School Board will be voting on the final plan for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year and the effect COVID-19 has had on it at the board meeting this Tuesday, July 28, at 6 p.m.

The meeting, which will take place in the Sierra Room of the Community Center located at 851 E. William Street, will decide on how the reopening of the new school year will go in Carson City Schools.
