I did not plant these; the birds did. The seeds spread in the wind or I accidentally spread seeds when deadheading.

Lace up your shoes for a morning walk at Riverview Park, and then head on over to the Nevada State Museum for a coin press demonstration, and tours that explore anthropology and Nevada history. Later there's a cruise night gathering at Carson Mall to benefit Safe Grad Night, an Italian dinner fundraiser at the Governor's Mansion to benefit Carson City's homeless, live music at Living the Good Life and A to Zen, laughs at the Carson Comedy Club, and much more. ‘Crowns and Tiaras’ Big Hat High Tea fundraiser to be held at Governor’s Mansion

A traditional English Tea will be served, with food, tea, desserts, and entertainment.
Retail Association of Nevada projects record $87 million in Silver State graduation spending

To celebrate these achievements, consumers in the Silver State will spend an estimated $86.8 million, according to projections by the Retail Association of Nevada.
University of Nevada graduates largest class to date

Due to inclement weather, all ceremonies were moved to the Lawlor Events Center instead of the University’s quad.

Our banner across downtown Carson Street welcomes home all alumni. The Plaza Hotel, downtown Carson City is providing discounted rooms for the weekend. A Meet and greet scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday night at Living the Good Life.
Live band, One Way Street will provide the Rock & Roll music and Carson City BBQ providing award winning cuisine, all for our enjoyment. Saturday, July 20, there are many different activities planned for everyone (golf play, school tour, poker run).

This year, we expect more than years before!
In order to prepare, it’s time for the annual Kitten Shower, being held on Saturday, April 6, at Nevada Humane Society in Reno and Carson City.
The fun-filled event aims to educate people about orphaned kittens in shelters, provide gifts for kittens, and enhance the group of Foster Caregivers — the volunteers who offer temporary homes to underage kittens and puppies.

This is also the last weekend before Christmas Day, which means the last Santa Trains of the season at the Nevada Railroad Museum. Santa Claus also leaves his North Pole headquarters at the Carson Mall Sunday in preparation for his big night.
