Carson City Sheriff's arrest log: Man with knife busted at football game
Submitted by Brett Fisher on Sat, 08/25/2018 - 10:10amAn 18 year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday night at 10:12 p.m. in the Carson High School parking lot for gross misdemeanor dangerous weapon possession on school grounds, a Carson City Sheriff's deputy reported, as well as for misdemeanor marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession.
Carson High Senators football team defeats Lower Lake Trojans 34-27

Lower Lakes High School, Calif., will be coming to Carson City for the out of state contest. Lower Lakes was 7-3 last season, while the Senators finished 4-6, losing to Reno in the first round of the playoffs.

With the monthly Wine Walk, Pour for Paws in McFadden Plaza, and Crystal’s Crusade Street Party Fundraiser on W. Telegraph, downtown is the place to be. There are so many options this weekend, so take a gander and enjoy your weekend.

The CHS Chamber Orchestra, directed by Dr. Brian Fox, is back from its spring trip to the Bay Area. The Chamber Orchestra competed in the Forum Music Festival at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, earning a gold rating from the adjudicators; the top rating.
Carson High's Landon Truesdale puts stellar season into perspective
