His stage make-up training started in L.A. at The Lady of Soul Awards and Soul Train.

“I loved meeting the greats like Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross and Natalie Cole," Ingbretson said.

Clint Kenneth is a father of three, has placed in the top three at Elvis competitions nationwide and has over 100 voices he can imitate.

Four-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan will bring his “Sunset Repeat Tour” to Harveys Outdoor Arena at Lake Tahoe on Sunday, Aug. 25. Singer-songwriter Jon Langston will open the concert, the second 2019 show announced this week for the popular summer series.

Leo Cardoza, who killed 19-year-old Desiree Bragg in 2013, sentenced to 10-25 years in prison

In January 2013, 19-year-old Desiree Bragg and her boyfriend were on their way home when Leo Cardoza followed them from the Carson City freeway to her mother’s front door.

What happened next is debated, but the end result cannot be argued: Desiree Bragg, as she attempted to exit her car and get into her mother’s house, was crushed against the garage door by Cardoza’s car, and killed.

Daryl Dragon, who was half of the soft pop rock duo “The Captain and Tennille” along with then-wife Toni Tennille, producing hits such as "Muskrat Love" and "Love with Keep us Together" and at one time lived in Washoe Valley north of Carson City with Tennille, died in Arizona on Wednesday. He was 76.

Giants of Zen team up for first concert in 2019 at Carson City's A to Zen

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy concert was a harbinger of more live music from nonprofit/for-profit partnership in Carson City

Carson City – Earlier in December on a snowy Tuesday night in Carson City, the band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy band rocked an enthusiastic audience of 450 people in Casino Fandango’s new grand ballroom and conference center. The concert was the result of a partnership between the nonprofit Brewery Arts Center (BAC) and the Casino Fandango and Convention Center in Carson City, and organizers are planning another show in March of 2019.

Carson City wins 2019 Levitt AMP Grant Awards for free concert series

Carson City beat out not only the rest of the country, but 17 of the 18 top winners.

The grant gives $25,000 to each community in order to present their own Levitt AMP Music Series, ten free outdoor concerts featuring “high-caliber entertainment in a broad range of music genres.”
