Fundraiser to help fire victims Dec. 1 at Espolon Grill Y Tequileria
Espolon Grill Y Tequileria and the Carson City Moose Lodge are co-sponsoring a fundraiser for Desiree Lund Wig and her two children. Their place caught on fire and they lost everything.
Desiree and her family lost their home and all possessions when a devastating house fire occurred three weeks ago.
Three cars, a shed and a camper were also destroyed in the fire. Some items lost that will need to be replaced are clothing, bedding, kitchen items, microwave, furniture, bicycles, etc. Items that can never be replaced are family photos, baby clothing and numerous items with sentimental value.
These personal possession are the items she cared about the most, but can never be replaced. This, along with her personal pain and suffering, is why the community is holding this fundraiser, which takes place Saturday, Dec. 1 at Espolon Bar and Grill in Mound House, 10115 U.S. Highway 50 at 2 p.m.
Tickets will be sold, and all the proceeds will be going to Desiree and her family.
There will be prizes that you can win with the tickets, a 50/50 drawing, and food for purchase. Half the proceeds will be going to Desiree and her family.
Please give what you can to help in the family's time of need. Come out and support this event.
