The Hidden Treasures Gift Shop is hosting its annual Christmas Fair this Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 1- 2, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the lobby of the Carson City Senior Center, 911 Beverly Drive. All items are handmade by seniors with a variety of quilts, placements, canes, jewelry, art, baby gifts and more! Everyone is welcome to shop.

CARSON CITY — Western Nevada College’s Community Education Department is now enrolling students for a variety of fall courses, including old favorites like Clay Club and brand new classes like Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. A 25-year-old man is facing multiple charges, including a felony, after driving with his high beams on early Sunday morning, and then attempting to throw methamphetamine over a freeway ramp during a traffic stop, a Carson City sheriff's deputy said.
