Gusty winds are expected behind the front with a chance of rain and snow showers mainly north of Sunsanville and Interstate 80 east of Pyramid Lake.
A second system will push through the region on Saturday providing continued breezy conditions with a chance of rain and snow showers. The high temperature for Carson City is 49 with a chance of showers. A warmup is in store for Sunday and Monday.
