Carson City sheriff's deputies make multiple DUI and warrant arrests

A 44-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 1:20 a.m. for suspicion of a second DUI, obstructing an officer, driving on a revoked license and probation violation, a sheriff’s deputy said.

According to the arrest report, a deputy observed a man stop his vehicle alongside a building and not in a designated parking lot and then move toward a closed facility. The deputy utilized his loudspeaker and asked the man to stop multiple times. The man continued to walk toward the south end of the building and then took off running. The officer chased and caught the man.

The deputy asked the man if he had been drinking. The man replied he had. He refused to participate in field sobriety tests but provided a preliminary breath test of .165.
