September gaming revenue up slightly statewide and in Carson City, down at Lake Tahoe
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and other areas of Douglas County except for South Shore Lake Tahoe report a combined "gaming win" of 0.56 percent, with gambling revenue at $11,908,433 for the month. This is compared to $11,842,530 in September 2022.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,270,598,215 for the month of September 2023. This amounts to a 1.69 percent increase compared to September 2022, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,249,470,541. For the fiscal year, July 1, 2023 through September 30, 2023, gaming win has increased 2.91 percent.
Elsewhere, gaming revenue at South Shore Lake Tahoe casinos was down 5.66 percent compared to September 2022. North Lake Tahoe casinos were down 10.51 percent.
Casinos in Sparks saw gaming revenue dow 6.76 percent, Reno, down 6.99 percent and in Washoe County, down 6.62 percent.
