From scary to sweet, Carson City goes all out at first Boo-Nanza
With a hearty supply of costumed ones, Carson City went all out Wednesday at its first ever Boo-Nanza celebration, co-hosted by Carson City Parks and Recreation, the Carson City Library and the Carson City Aquatics Facility.
The pre-Halloween event brought hundreds to participate in events such as trick-or-treating, a haunted house, games, crafts, a dive-in movie and more.
In the first photo, The Youth Theater Carson City Showstoppers dance to "Thriller" at the Community Center.
In the second photo, kids watch a dive-in movie, "Hotel Transylvania" at the Carson City Aquatics Facility during the Boo-nanza.
Of course it being a Halloween party with trick-or treating, there were plenty of scary masks, such as the one worn by Ezequiel Mendoza, 10, in the third photo, and cute costumes, like the one on Emma Jo Etchison, 4, as seen in the final photo.
