Traffic accident reported in Northbound lanes of I-580 near Highway 50 exit

Just before 11:30 p.m. a traffic accident was reported on I-580.

Two vehicles were involved in the northbound lanes near the highway 50 exit.

Deputies are enroute to the scene.

Motorists should seek alternate routes or use caution while in the area.

GARDNERVILLE — Applications are now open for artists and crafters for participation in the 3rd Annual Ag & Artisan Holiday Faire, which will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the historic Storke Dairy located at 876C Centerville Lane in Gardnerville. This is my last article for 2023, but I’ll be back early next year. I thought I would look back on all the gardening experiences I had this year. The year started less than auspiciously. We were without power, water or heat for five days. That was followed by flooding, which provided our annual rainfall in one week.
